change default settings

I've been asked to create a presentation from a really dodgy template
- dodgy in that when I want to add an arrow or a circle shape, it only
lets me add 3D shapes - no matter what I do, I can't change them to a
normal thickness and style.

Does anyone know how these settings were locked within the template
and how I can change them back to default.

Hi Madge,

4 steps to resolve this:

1) Select an object (with 3-d settings applied)

2) Open the 3-d settings toolbar (from the 3-d button on the drawing
toolbar)

3) Select 'No 3-d'

4) Right click on object and select 'set auto-shape defaults'
