This has to be real simple, but I can't find how to
permanantly change the default font in FP-2002.

Simple in Word for example --- change the font,
click 'SET AS DEFAULT' That option not available in FP-
2002

Someone posted the exact same question yesterday- I'll save
you the search time and paste the 2 responses

I am not an FP guru, and this response may be all wrong.
Default font on a web page uses whatever the default font is
on the client viewing the page. Setting to any other font
risks the user not having that font on the client computer.
If they are using IE and have install on demand active then
they may see your site in the font you desire. If the
client does not, then it goes to the default font anyways.
If you must use fancyu stuff that some may not have then
create those lines in whatever font in a graphics program
(ie Paint) and save as gif images.

Please try the procedure titled, "Controlling Fonts for an
Entire Web Site," at:

sorry, that is not the same thing as you are asking - it is only to do with the
internal fonts used by frontpage, not how they are displayed in a web browser....

Which are you after - since you change the fonts to display the pages in a
browser by <font face> tags or by CSS.

I you want to change the font of your code from the default of 'courier' hen use:
tools > options > default
font. same with the default font when you type in edit mode it is times roman,
change it to arial or whatever you want, but you still have to use the font tags
or CSS to change the appearance as it will look to a viewer of the site.
