Thanks for your help, Pavel. This is the only computer. Everything I use is on this one. I don't know if I have any mapped drives but I don't think so. I did create 2 partitions when I first set up the computer but that was ages ago. I just want to go back to my standalone system but can't figure out where to make the change. I've tried to change it in the System properties, performance setting but there is no option to change. Any idea.

Since the only difference between Standalone and Workstation is where th
software is installed, there is not much you need to do. When using PC as
Workstation, you can run programs that are installed on another PC that act
as a Server
If you are running programs in this PC that are in fact installed somewher
else, just remove the shortcuts that start the program. There are som
programs that are actually installed on Workstation with small portio
residing on the Workstation and the main portion on Server in which case yo
need to uninstall those
I have a feeling that you do not fall in either category but instead you ar
simply sharing some drives/folders with another PC in which case all yo
need to do is remove the shares and/or mapped drives
