It would be very helpful if it were possible to change the recurrence end
date for appointments without losing all prior exceptions. For example,
assume a monthly appointment is set up using the recurrence feature with no
end date. For 3 of the appointments, the time will be different, so these
are manually changed creating an exception. Later, it is decided that this
will no longer be a standing appointment. There is no way to go back and put
an end date on the recurrence pattern without also changing the 3 exceptions.
At the time the need exists to enter an end date, it is unlikely that you
will remember all of the exceptions and they will be accidentally changed
with no record of the correct time.
