Change appointment font text default

Is there a way to change the default font and size for the text area of new
appointments? I would like to have another font and size be in the
appointment text area without having to change it each time.

tools, options, mail format - fonts. try the top one. note it also applies
to email too.

Diane, Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately that is inaccurate! I do not
wish to cause any change to email, only my appointments in the Calendar.
When you set up an appointment, you have the lower section of the appointment
window for text. I also use this field as a type of journal/memo for each
appointment and want to change the default font and size in that text field
only. My e-mails font is fine, just the calendar appointment text field!

What is inaccurate? The notes field in any item uses the same control as the
email body field (actually the email notes field) - so changing it for one
is going to change for all. There is no way to avoid changing it globally.

You can change it when entering text using the format, font menu - and you
can change the stationery settings to lessen the effect of changing it for
the notes field.
