Change 7/7 to July 7 on calendar display

I want the calendar to display and print a month name (Jan, Feb, etc) rather
than a number (01,02,etc)

That's a Windows setting. See the "long date format" under the "Date,Time,
Language, and Regional Options" category of Control Panel.
