Hi Tommy,
What software are you running on your system that might
cause that behaviour? I'm wondering if there's a scheduled
task that occurs every two days that's at fault, or some 3rd
party tools (Norton's perhaps?) that may be at fault as well.
How about virtual CD's, multiple CD drives, Kazaa, or are
there different user accounts which play the game?
If you do reinstall the game, set a restore point. At least that
will give you something to compare the current state of your
system to at the time the problem happens, and if of course
restoring your system doesn't correct the issue, it will prove
that the problem isn't related to any specific software issues.
As you can tell, yours isn't an easy problem to diagnose. :-s

| Game works fine for one or two days after instalation but then suddenly it fails to load at all, with no message why. when I click
the icon the hourglass starts to turn but then stops. The same is also true if I try from the start menu or Windows Explorer, what
could be causing this?
