Hi
I have two PCs on the same broadband connection, both can join someone elses
game and fight each other, but when I try to set up our own HOST game only
one of the PCs can enter, the other says it is trying to connect and just
sits there. Is there a way round this?
Kind regards
GC

Hello!

How are you connected up, are you behind a router?

Are you trying to host an internet game, and have a local machine join or a
LAN game? I'm not 100% sure if you can host an internet game, and still
have local machines connect (locally) or if they'd need to connect
externally via the net and come back, if the latter you'll need to make sure
your router has the correct ports open. Also make sure there's no firewalls
on your two computers that could be getting in the way.

Couple of knowledge base articles that may help:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829475 CFS3 ports that need opening and
also http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;819836 which
covers pretty much everything.
