cf 2.0 beta 2 installation problem

I have a custom windows ce 4.2 device and am trying to install the .net cf
2.0 beta 2 on it. It gets through installing the files, then at the end it
says it failed. Below is the log file it outputs. Is this a install issue,
or related to my device?

No idea on the actual problem, but you know that .NET CF 2.0 won't be
supported on Windows CE 4.2, right?

It won't be supported at all? I thought I heard around here that it just
hasn't been included in the platform builder yet.

No, it won't be supported. CE 5 is supported and Pocket PC 2003, which is,
internally, based on Windows CE.NET 4.2, will be supported. Doesn't mean it
won't work, of course, but...

Can you tell us what from 2.0 you need, as opposed to using 1.0?

The FAQ's information on 2.0 talks a lot about various versions of PPC being
supported, but I don't see a simple matrix with an empty box for 4.x...
