Google should get you an example. The SDF source is available for 1.x too,
so that could be construed as an example, though you said you don't want to
look at it. Once you get it done, it will look just like what we did, since
there's only 1 way to really call the API so I'm not sure why you can't just
use something already done and spend your time being productive.
