guy

I live in Croatia and I have MCSD.net

Employers in my country dont realy respect this certificate, if u apply
for job and lets say u have 2years of experience and u r MCSD and guy
next to you also have 2y of experience but he dont have any certificate
he will definitely be chosen if he offer to work for less money.

So equation in my country is:
Experience+How cheap u r=Job Your MCSD is good only to decorate
your wall.

Here programmers 2y+ work experience have 500E - 700E month salary.
What is situation in yours countrys and can MCSD in your country
improve career?

Hello Guy,

I'm living in the Netherlands an I have almost MCSD.NET. I'm having just
about 1.5 years experience.

For 2year experience and MCSD.NET I think you will get at least 2000 euro
a month. You will have something like 1400 left when you have paid your taxes.
Also you will a get a car from you company (most times), you only have to
pay taxes for this car.

Yours,

Mark Monster

Hey,

I live in belgium.
and it is here about the same situation as in the netherlands.
microsoft certifications deffinately have a value here.
but beware, language is also important. If you plan on applying for a job
here you must be able to speak dutch. or french or both depending on where
you will work.

greets

well guys here in turkey they donot have a big respect for programers even
when you hold any kind of certificates, i hold MSCD.net and about to be mct
but the stil donot know what such certificates means, the max. salry that you
may take is 1000-1200 $ but that if you are lucky. and be sure that you`ll
have a boss over you which he donot have any idea about what you are talking
about!!!!!!!!!!

well...

that may be the case when you work for someone.
you can be a good developer but still most people have no idea what you are
doing. I think it is important for yourself to determin how much you are
worth for a company and be able to explain this.

greets,

maybe you are right, but actually the point here is the mentelty of work
owner, and most of companies here start to ckose there doors, because they
donot carry on future plans, and donot have enough money to hire some
developer whish will hold to company for better places.
