I have a Windows 2000 Server. It services a number of XP
Pro clients. Many of those clients do not have internet
access, so they can't use the automatic update function.
My Norton Anti-virus allows the server to get updates and
then apply them to the clients. Is there any such facility
in W2K Server?

There is Software Update Services (SUS) and you can find information on it at the following site.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserversystem/sus/default.mspx

I would also recommend reading the "Software Update Services Deployment White Paper" which you can find at the site
below.
