How do I center a picture after I have inserted it into PowerPoint
Currently I am dragging it but there must be an easier way. Any help i
appreciated

When you use Insert | Picture | From File, the photo is centered on the
slide.

What is it you're trying to do? Which version of PPT are you using?

How are you inserting the picture?

And again, what version of PPT are you using?

Thank you.

They should be centering. I can't think of a reason they'd come in at the
upper left since you're inserting them using Insert | Picture | From File.
Hm. It may be caused by an add-in or something, it's hard to say.

Since you're not doing anything odd when inserting the files, Lucy's link to
batch importing is your best bet. I'd also recommend the Image Importer
Wizard (http://www.mvps.org/skp ) or you could use PPT's own Photo Album
feature. You won't be able to manipulate (crop, etc.) the images if you use
the photo album, though. (You can in PPT 2007, which is one reason I kept
asking which version of PPT you're using.) You will be able to center them
either before or after you insert them using the Photo Album.

Here's the Batch Import link again: http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00050.htm

If you already have your photos inserted, you can use the "place exactly"
tool on the free RnR Starter Set add-in to "hammer" them all into place. It
takes one click on each picture. http://www.pptools.com/index.html
