center text in myspace

I am using the latest version of IE and am trying to update a new
myspace profile...I am using the html codes for center as I have done
before updating another myspace profile I have in Firefox...when I do
that, the text isn't centered...is there somethign else I have to add
to the code besides the <center> </center> tags?

I was going to, but the forums were down as of yesterday...

I just checked their forums again a sec. ago and they are still
down...so if anyone out there uses myspace and can give me some info,
I'd greatly appreciate it.
