Cellulare phone connection

Hi all,
it is possible to open directories, sending and retriving ringtones,
downloading/uploading java application ... on cellulare phone?
I used AT commands to manage phone numbers, sms and ather simply thinghs but
I can't access to the smartiest one.
Any ideas?
My phone is a nokia, I downloaded the pc connettivity sdk but the same
functionality are not implemented (anyway SDK is for c++).

Yeah, I know. Bummer, isn't it.
It depends on the phone software.
Of course it is possibly, the difficult part is to discover the communicaton
protocol...

I found an extended manual, and all the api are explaned.
It is possible to access to phone but only for nokia (it is nokia sdk).
Is there an universal way to access to the cellular phones?

If you have manual for *API* you just need to invoke them.
But I think you've found the protocol description..true?
The access depends on the phone connection - IR, serial, USB...

They are api for sms, folders, settings, radio, ringtone... for nokia
phones.

Yes I know but what I need is an universal method to access cellular phones
and not API only for nokia.
I'm using ir protocol.
