Is there any way in Word to force a cell of a table to go to a new page or column if there is not enough room for it to fit at the bottom of the current page or column? The cells in the table I am working with are all small (max 10 lines), and I dislike having them split into pieces.

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Word. They start
microsoft.public.word.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product.

Select your (Word) Table and then use the Menu Table / Table Properties ...
In the "Row" tab, uncheck the option "Allow row to break across pages".

As Doug wrote, please use the Word newsgroups for questions relating to
Word.
