Can any one help with returning the value of the cell at
the cell pointer. @cellpointer used to do this in 1,2,3
and quattro. I can't find an equivalent in Excell 2000.

Hi Dmac!

I'm not sure that this is what you want but try looking at the CELL
function:

=CELL("contents",MyRange)

Returns the contents of the upper-left cell in reference
