Hello everyone,

A worker asked me to split a merged cell into two columm. I have neve
find any where in the tool that I could do that! Is this possible?

Regards,
Kim-An

Right click in cell, in french it's: "diviser la cellule", so... "split
cell" ?

1. Select the merged cell(s).
2. Toolbar: select F_o_rmat
3. Select the Alignment tab
4. Uncheck Text control "_M_erge cells"

Note that you can also replace 2-4 with a click on the toolbar icon, i
you have that set up (put the Format / Unmerge cells icon in you
toolbar).

Hope this helps.

Not sure what you mean by merged cell, but will make a couple of assumptions.

You have merged cells A1 and B1 into one cell.

You have two words in that cell...qwerty asdfgh

You cannot use Data>Text to Columns on a merged cells.

First you must unmerge the cells via Format>Cells>Alignment

This puts the two words into A1

Data>Text to Columns>Delimited by space>Finish

Your two words will be in A1 and B1.
