hey heres my problem... i cant find the one work sheet my cells connect
too.. heres what one cell would say:

=IF(C24=PPP,"CORRECT","")

the thing is.. PPP is on another worksheet that i dont even have.

my precendents say that its linked to another worksheet, but i dont
have another worksheet opened or even on my computer.

is there a way that PPP is on a worksheet connected by the internet or
that i can connect just one cell to one other cell in an entirely
different and unconnected workbook?

by they way.. i am just tryin to figure out how my friends accouting
teacher hid the answers from them, cuz he figured out how to find the
equations like OOO/LLL and stuff like that. but we dont know how our
workbook finds the other workbook.
sorry for the length, thanks for any help...

Not sure I totally follow. What is PPP? Is it a name? If so, you can look in
Inset > Name > Define to find what it refers to. If you turn on precedent
arrows and get one pointing from an icon of a worksheet, double click the
arrow (not the icon) to open up a dialog box showing what it refers to.
Don't forget it could be a hidden worksheet. If the worksheet is in another
workbook, a dialog box should come up when you first open your workbook
asking if you want to update remote links.

thanks for your help man.. yea ppp is a cell on the other sheet..

i think its just a hidden sheet in the actual workbook because this i
what comes up when i double click the arrow:
[elas98.xls]QANDA!$F$8 .... elas.98.xls is my workbook...

so now i gotta figure out how to get this hidden page.. its off to th
FAQ's and forums i go.. thanks agai
