Cell formattion bug?

Hi,

have curious error.
I am running WinXp Pro with Office 2002. All in german.
When entering a certain range of characters, A21-01 to
A21-12, these chars are changed to the arabic language.
Cell format before entering anything is standard after the
change it is switched to user defined.

Anybody who has the same problems and knows an answer?

BTW....Harlan was right. You don't need to re-boot. Just close and re-open
Excel to see the effect of the change in Registry. I took the long-way-round.
Or should that be "wrong"-way-round.
