cell formatting

I need to put numbers into cell that begin with zero. e.g.
00000012345. When I enter the number the zeros disappear.
I am using this type of cell formatting for a application
for reading codes on sale products. How can I keep the
zeros from disappearing.

Format the cells as follows: Format, Cells, click on Custom, in the white
box type in the following Custom format: 00000000000

That's 11 zeroes. Click OK. Re-enter your data.
