I have intel celeron 1.1 GHz with 256 megs of ram and 16
meg built onto the motherboard graphic card. I also have
a 160 Gig hard drive. I also added a PCI capture card to
caputre composite video. It was made by AverDVD. I have
captured a 2 hour home movie, but when i play back the
the video through Windows media player the video freezes
while the audio is okay. I am not sure why it does that
on Microsoft Movie Maker II. I was hoping it is not my
processor that is causing this. I have disabled
everything such as norton anti virus, and a lot of the
processes on windows XP the to the bear esstential so
processor won't be flooded with stupid process that is
not needed. Can any one tell a solution. Do you think I
need a faster processor? What do i need to do? Please
help me out.

I have problems with a Celeron 2.0Ghz, 64mb of graphics and 512mb of RAM.
The solution is to get a faster CPU, Celeron's are not very good at data
crunching.

I have no problems with my husband's PC (which I also built) he has an
Athlon XP 2200+ with 256mb RAM and the cheapest 64mb graphics card I could
find!
