CDR utility for data?

Is there any very simple cdr utility to burn some data files on a cd? I am
looking for something that won't have to install and with minimal
functionality and system requirements.

You can optain CDRTools from Joerg Schilling, GNU-Tar and Grep.
I use 2 little scripts to make multivolume backups - I can customize them
as I like ...

AFAIR doesn't it require ASPI ?
