ok...i'm new to all of this. what makes a cd write protected? i saved stuff to a cd and now i want to edit from the cd, but the properties say the files are write protected. i can't even change the name of the file.
HELP!!!
 
Janet, on the files you need rt click and select Properties. At the
bottom of the dialog box uncheck Read Only.

i've done that, but the message i then get says "read" only....can't do anything else.
any other suggestions?
