My cd rom doesn't seem to be able to be able to write to it. I keep getting
an error message. So looking around trying to figure out how. I opened the
error log. I see it has an error for the cd rom saying I have a bad block.
What the heck is that and how do i fix it so I can write to a cd. Thanks
Laurie

By definition, it is impossible to write data to a CD-ROM. THE "ROM"
stands for "Read Only Memory."

Okay it's a cd rewriter and why can't I write to it or are you just being
smart.

What software are you using to attempt to write to the CD with? What type
of disk are you putting into the drive? Is this a new disk or has something
already been written to it?

We need answers to all of these questions to be able to make an intelligent
answer to your initial question.
