I have a rather eccentric user on one of the machines in my office and he is
having the following problem. His machine contains one hard disk physically
connected within the machine and he has two other external hard disks which
he periodically exchanges and takes home. Apparently this is the only way
he can manage to synchronises his files between home and work
when one of the removable hard disks is installed his Liteonit CD writer
will only act as a reader and will not write. Nero is unable to recognise
it as a writer. When the other removable hard disk is slotted in, Windows
will not recognise the CD writer at all. It lists it in the device manager
with a yellow checkmark. It apparently is looking for drivers. Can anyone
shed any light on this? The system is Windows 2000 professional service
