Hi all,

all of a sudden (today) my XP Pro machine won't play music cd's. Comes up as
having "No Disk in Drive" if I use Windows Media Player.

Data CD's are fine and I can see evertything.

Does anyone know what may have caused this ?

cheers,

Adam

Your CDROM drive has failed. Replace it.

did u check in Windows Explorer whether the Tracks are being shown, if yes the drive is not yet damaged and you need to try using another player to play the Audio CD, u can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the drive from Device Manager
