hey guys and gals,
Looking for a freeware CD to MP3 encoder for my new Creative Nomad (I
know cheap peice of junk, but it is what I could afford, and the
software doesn't work worth crap on my WIN 98 SE). Any suggestions for
what I could use to turn my CD collection in to MP3's?

TIA

Eric

CDEX or EAC are the best. CDEX is quicker on my computer. I use EAC if
there's any damage to the cd since it does the better job with errors.

www.exactaudiocopy.de the most accurate extraction ... and it's free!

(it is in english and manny other languages, of course)

and then add the LAME.EXE ( not the DLL version!!!!!!) for the best mp3
encoding

use 3.90.3 version of lame; i think you can find it in hidrogenaudio forum
(google)

:-)
