My Kodak Easyshare 4530 in its camera dock cannot communicate with my CD-RW
drive :L-G Electronics GCE-8520B. Kodak tells me this model of burner is
not compatible with Kodak software and that's normal.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Save pics to the hard drive, then burn to the CD.

Or use a card reader to transfer them to the hard drive.
