CD-RW

Have lost site of CD-RW drive. I t does not show up in my computer or
anywhere else that I know where to look.. OS is XPSP2 Home Edition.
Computer is an HP Pavillion that came with XPSP2 installed Don't have a
CD-ROM, therefore can not load any CD applications. Any help w/.b
appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. I ran this file. I did not get conformation the
script was done. Tried a reboot and nothing has changed. Any other
suggestion? Does this apply generally? I wonder since this a HP computer
should this file work? Thanks again.

Try the fix in this KB below. Your Upper and Lower filters. Ignore the issue just try the fix as described in there.
