R Rich Lehman Feb 12, 2006 #3 Have you tried warm soapy water and do a light cleaning?? Do you have access to testing your drive in another pc?? It could have JUST" died like both my DVDROM and cdwriter did the other day. Same symptoms on 2 other computers of mine
