cd rw drive speed

I have a new cd rewriteable drive that is capable of
writing at 52x. When I check the information on the
drive, under recording, it says that the fastest my drive
can write is 8x. What us the problem, if any?

you need nero burning rom full version to get Full speeds
i had same issue...... hope this works. email me back
