CD-RW and DVD-ROM Driver are MISSING!!

I have a little problem with my computer. Both of my CD-ROM
drivers are missing. I can't use my cd-rom drives to
reinstall WINDOWS. Is there anything I can do besides
format my harddrive and start over? HELP!!
