my daughter has quite a few and was told that she couldnt
use them on xp is this true

Hi Susan,

Yes. Games written for Windows 95 and 98 will work.
Other games work using XP's built in compatibility mode.
You can look up your games at www.ntcompatible.com
or post the titles here, and see if anyone else plays them.
