My CD-ROMS are not recognizing that there is a CD in them.
I have been advised to "Take Out" the drivers and reboot,
and Windows XP will automatically reinstall them. However
I do not know how to take them out. Any advise.

Thank you,
Stacie

Open device manager [right click MY Computer icon, select
manage, device manager is on the menu in the window].
Remove the CD-ROM in device manager and re-boot

Okay I tried that, and it is still not working, I went to
the properties of both of my CD-Rom drivers and this is
the message it gives for the device status:
"Windows cannot start this hardware device because its
configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete
or damaged. (Code 19)"
I am not sure what they mean by this.

Any advice.
Thank you very much.
