Hi,
I understand that after upgrading the operating system to Windows 2000, the
CD Drive is not accessible. The system displays the error message that the
drive is not accessible and incorrect function.
1. Please boot the system in safe mode and check if the CD drive is
accessible in safe mode.
2. Also please uninstall any recently installed applications and check if
the issue is resolved.
3. Let us know if there is any CD burning software installed on the system.
4. Also what was the previous operating system installed before the system
was upgraded to Windows 2000?
Thank you,
Rashmi
