Haveing accidentally rebooted with a bootdisk.com 98se disk in the
floppy-drive, while it was counting down on options, I done C+A+D.
Back in XP-HE, my CD-Rom drive has become 'Removable Disk (E:), and is
unusable.
It seems to think that it is a HD.

I have done a redetect in BIOS, I have done 'System Restore' to 4/3/04
(System Checkpoint).

Can anybody please advise how to delete the drive so that it might redetect
properly, or any other ideas with regards to problem.

a: OK floppy-drive
b:
c: OK ntfs 60GB Primary-Master
d: OK CDWR Primary-Slave
e: ??? CD-Rom Secondary-Master, thinks it's a 'Removeable
Disk'
f: OK 2.5GB FAT32 Secondary-Slave

Why do you think your computer thinks it's a hard drive?

Sorry to have troubled you folks, and thanks anyways
It's corrected itself by my turning machine off, then on (rather than
'Restart')

Thanks for your interest, it has (as said in my reply to my post) corrected
itself (turned off for 1/2 minute).

As of question, it said 'Not Formatted' (on an MS-CD).
