Hi Jim,

I join you in mourning the end of an era.. which was www.zone.com
I've joined up with the closest site I could find, (WGCenter) however,
at this time, they only offer card, and board games mostly, and ANTS.

I too am a HUGE Medal of Honor player.. havent played awhile, went to play
online and..AHHHHH no servers available.... what happened???!!!! I'll be
watching closly to see where to go and play... there has GOT to be hundreds
and hundreds of us out there looking for a home.

Electronic Arts (EA) has closed down all its servers. There is one master
server left up for Medal of Honor Rising Sun, but that too will be closed in
November. I have several games, that when the Master Servers shut down, they
were able to be supported elsewhere. They are all Half Life games though.
For examples, Judgement, Gunman Chronicles, SIN, and Action Half Life can
all be copied into the Steam's master server's folder and run though Steam.

It may be possible for you to set something like that up with Gamespy or
Steam, but you will need to be seriously dedicated and have alot of free
time to get that ball in play.

EA is probably going to spend more time on its Sims and Command and Conquer
type games. That seems to be where all the money is.
