cd rom error39

windows cant load drivers for this device files currupt or missing.
i tried replacing them from back up files on my computar, didnt work. i
have boot disk so no help there i have sp2 disk.but cd- rom wont read it. i
have uninstalled the device and reboot. it install but says not properly then
i get the same error

click on start button then click run
& type: /scannow then press enter.
