Have you tried other CDs to rule out a bad CD? -- Singapore Website Design http://www.bootstrike.com/Webdesign/ Singapore Web Hosting http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/faq.html Windows XP FAQ

S SingaporeWebDesign May 30, 2007 #5 Hello, How old is it? Have you tried it with a DVD loaded and see whether that works? If a DVD works, then it could be a laser failure. If the drive does not support DVDs, you will need to try swapping in another drive. Or wait and see if anyone else has better suggestions. It could also be a CD problem - try another CD. -- Singapore Website Design http://www.bootstrike.com/Webdesign/ Singapore Web Hosting http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/faq.html Windows XP FAQ
