Windows gives me an error message stating that the cd
drivers are either missing or corrupted. THe cd rom
dirves are fully functional but Windows will not
recognize them and will not read any cds from either
drive. I have been searching the internet for weeks for
a driver....any one know of where to find one for a GCQ-
832OB?

I thought I was the only one having this problem. I've
been looking for a cd rom driver for a month and still
haven't found one. Please email me at
(e-mail address removed) if you find one. I would
greatly appreciate it.

One way to correct the problem is to make a "repair" intallation of Windows
Xp something not that simple.

A simplier solution that might work ONLY IF YOU HAVE AN INTEL PROCESSOR AND
INTEL CHIPSET is to download and install Intel Application Accelarator
(IAA) from here: http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/iaa/

IAA includes all the necessary drivers and may even accelerate a bit your
hard disk.

Check your hardware connection inside the box
