cd rom drive

Recently I was burning a CD and after it was done i culd
not open the cd rom drive and now my computer does not
detect the drive at all and i cant open it or anything
someone please help me fix this problem!

You might check that the CD drive itself is receiving
power. Are there any lights on? Is everything plugged in
inside the computer?

To at least get your disc out in the meantime, there
should be a very small hole on the front of the drive,
just big enough for a paperclip. Try inserting a
paperclip and pushing. This should release the drive door
so you can at least extract your cd.
