Cd Rom Drive Not there

Hey all, I have Windows Xp Pro. and today i turned it on
and both my cd-rom drives were not detected and not shown
in my computer. I have been tring to make a mp3 cd with
some cd's I have and installed some software. I
uninstalled some of the software so it may caused the
problem. I am not sure thank you!!!
