cd-rom cleaners

when i put a cd-rom cleaner in it won't work, but plays cd's and dvd's.

CD ROM cleaners are normally a audio CD which will guide you thru the
steps to clean the CD. Try opening Windows Meda Player, since the
cleaner disk may not have an "auto-start" feature.
 
i tried that and it still don't work.
