CD Rom/CD/DVD

I have two hard drives and neither of them work. When I put a disk in it wont
show up in ''My Computer'' and it wont pop up on the desktop when I put a
program or game disk in. Ive tried reinstalling it, Ive tried the system
recovery and nothing works. Anyone have any advice?
 
Please check this post and correct it! You are asking a question on CD
Rom/CD/DVD but stating that when you insert a disk to a "hard drive". This
can not be since "hard drives" are not normally removable drives and you do
not insert disks into one.
