I have a pretty new PC with an internal DVD writer. It failes to read
the content of CDs or DVDs. When I put the CD in the drive I get the
wizard about what I want to do, and under My Computer, it shows the
name of CD or DVD but if I dobbel-click it wouln't open the CD for me
to see the contents, neither if I right-click and choose open, neither
if I choose open from the wizard. Is it the DVD-drive to is it a
software related problem (since I can see the name of the CD in My
Computer)

tnx khers

Could be software, but it could also be hardware. Before you start messing
around with settings and programs and files, see if there's a problem with
the drive. Attach it to another computer, and see if it works. If it does,
try a different cable in your computer, and try it on the other ide.
