Cd-rom and Dvd-rom not autostarting..help?

I recently had to do a "windows repair"

After it was complete, I noticed that when I put a cd into one of my 2 drives (cdrom and dvdburner), they would not autostart

I checked with "windows explorer"..and sure enoug, the cdrom drives dont even update the "name" of the cd
It "sticks" with the name of the cd that was in the drive at boot..And nothing I can do to make it change or autostart new cd's...

I have to manually use windows explorer to search on teh cd's and start up the application or game

Anyone experienced this? And know a fix? It's driving me nutz!

See if Microsoft's Autoplay Repair Wizard will fix the problem:

- Go to http://search.microsoft.com/.
- Select Window XP for the product.
- Search on "autoplay repair wizard"
