CD Recording

I cannot record to a CD-R on seperate occasions, even though the Cd is not
Full. CD-RW work Fine. Is there a setting that I must utilise to allow
multiple recordings.
I have been trying to transfer photographs to a CD-R until it is full, but
it only allows me to transfer on one occasion. How do I correct this problem.

Read up on creating multisession discs. This is for Nero but will be
similar for other burning programs.

When you're creating your discs to be burned, make sure you Unselect the
option to close the disc. If you use Nero, make sure you check the box to
"Allow files to be added later (multisession disc)"

I copy my files to CD using Windows not an application like Nero, does this
option to "close the disc" appear when copying using Windows.

Sorry but no. The xp cd burning program is a one shot deal.To do what you
what you need another program to do it.
