Cd reading problem

My cd rom will read music cds but will not read program cds(photoimpact)
can somebody out there please tell me why and what to do about it?? Under
properties it says file system unknown, if that helps.
 
Shorty, you could try a cd drive lense cleaner kit. If the drive has
alot of age and/or use on it might be time to invest in
a new one.
