cd-r...why not dvd+r

You can, if you have the other software and hardware to do it..

If you used Movie Maker to burn the CD, it won't play on today's DVD
players.... we are still waiting on models that can handle the WMV format.

Movie Maker doesn't support authoring and burning DVDs. See the DVD Software
section of www.papajohn.org to see what others are using and some of their
comments.
